First I've heard of this. Apparently Lockheed is hiring temporary workers to help build the Joint Strike Fighter. Strange days indeed....

My sister works for Lockheed in California doing F-35 flight test, and like 80% of the mechanics out there crossed the line. They haven't cancelled a single flight test.
The majority of the union is in Texas. The mechanics in California get an extra 75 cents an hour for cost of living. The only reason is they are a smaller group and the union chose to screw them. Then 80% crossed the line and screwed the union back.
It's a good reminder that any union should never screw over certain portions of people otherwise they will screw you back when a strike comes.
