Grad Degree at Oklahoma Univ (Post-9/11)
Any retirees here who got out before Aug '09 and have, or are considering using their post-9/11 GI Bill benefits? I'm thinking of starting a graduate program with Oklahoma University on-base. I'm curious to hear if anyone took classes through OU (either the international relations degree or the human relations degree), and if so what you have to say about the experience. One specific question: were you able to take two classes at the same time and thus qualify for full-time student status?

I did the IR masters through OU while I was stationed at Mildenhall from 2005-2009. The timing of the classes would determine if you could enroll in two classes. Mildenhall and Lakenheath would both sponsor professors for classes but would never overlap. You could actually travel to any base that was offering classes (Ramstein, Rota, etc) but I never did that.
I loved my OU masters experience. Meeting face to face with a professor (6-9 pm weekdays and 8-5 on weekends) was extremely valuable.
