Interview Prep

As many of us are getting ready for airline interviews you should all consider some kind of course that will get you ready for the big day. I heard about a company called Emerald Coast Interview Consulting through a friend of mine and was told I had to attend one of their seminars. I attended one of their seminars yesterday and let me tell you this is a MUST to get you prepared for an airline interview. Aaron and his team are true professionals and are extremely effective at getting you ready for the questions that will be asked in the interview and the CRM exercise. They helped me prepare for an ANG interview over the phone and the three hours I spent with them definitely helped me get the job. You are a client for life with Emerald Coast so I decided to attend a seminar as well.

These questions can be very hard and if you haven't practiced what you are going to say you will mess it up. I've had a lot of public speaking experience and have always felt that I could nail any interview but when so much is riding on what comes out of your mouth sometimes you just sound like a moron. I recommend doing this early because you probably need to attend more than one seminar. Good luck to everyone but if you want to land an airline job of your dreams and not lose it because of something stupid you said during the interview, then attend one of these seminars.

FOOT STOMP FOOT STOMP FOOT STOMP

Call ECIC

To add....

I received an email at my current AETC base about ECC actually coming to said base if you get enough folks. I don't know any details outside of that....but, it may be to your benefit to get a few bro's together to see if it's more cost effective for you to roll that way.

Also, you can search other forums areas for Emerald/ECC, etc and get additional *positive* info...!

Is there a recommended specialty/airline for Emerald Coast?

mayutt 08-24-2013 03:56 AM

EC is familiar with all the airlines' interview profiles and will tailor your individual preparation accordingly. That said, I think the skills gained are invaluable for any interview, whether it's for an airline pilot job or not.

I did it back in 2005. It was incredibly helpful and I credit ECIC with helping me get hired at my airline. I had not actually "interviewed" for a job in my entire life until I separated from AD and had my first airline interview. It was eye opening, to say the least. Highly recommend them.

Great advice... Appreciate it

Other than ECIC does anybody have any experience with the other ones out there?
