Air Force Times Mobile - AF stops work on most force-shaping programs

"Those categories of applications still being approved include airmen who applied for TERA or normal separation in lieu of meeting a quality force review board, airmen who applied for TERA with between 19 and 20 years total active federal military service, and airmen who applied for normal retirement in lieu of meeting the enhanced selective early retirement board, or E-SERB."

At least there is some movement and they acknowledge they are screwing with people's lives (end of the article). Still, this round of programs is crap.

"But work on other programs, such as retention boards, E-SERBs, quality force review boards and TERA applications for airmen with between 15 and 19 years of service, is being held up."

-From the AF Times article above^^

You've got to communicate better HAF & AFPC. Why do we have to go on Easter Egg hunts to figure out what's going on with the future of our lives??

Speak up, we're not children.

If you read the actual PSDM and not just look at the generalized tables that were published, there is a note in the eligibility section (TERA) that says if you have between 19-20 yrs of service as of 31 Jul 14, then you are eligible to apply regardless of AFSC. It's not to late to apply BFMthisA10.

Good Luck!

Ok, there's the rub: only 16 years here. My level of disgruntled is back to normal.

Looks like we're back in business. And in case you missed this year's round of spin the bottle, there'll be another opportunity next year.
