Air Force Times strikes again. That is a terribly worded headline, I could have told you they stopped processing these weeks ago since mine has been sitting in the same place with no movement. It doesn't mean the programs are finished, they are just trying to dig their heads out and figure out simple things that they should have known before they even started these programs. Like how many people they can cut when they tell 70% of the force they are eligible to separate voluntarily, seems like elementary stuff to me.

My TERA status changed to "FM-Validation Complete" on Fri/7th. Here's hoping for movement soon on VSP/TERA apps!

My TERA status (19 years):
Checked Eligibility: Jan 14th
Approved to apply: Jan 16th
CC Coord Comp: Jan 21st
Batch Processing: Feb 5th
Verification Comp: Mar 6th

Here's the interesting part, in vMPF under the CDV (used to be the DVB) my DOS changed from a date in 2015 to 31 Jul 2014.

Although I'm not holding my breath, it's a possible sign. There is someone else in my squadron that went to "Verification Complete" and his DOS in vMPF is still "Indefinite."

I'm an '04 commission 11M, My VSP application is at what I think is the final stop "Referred to Voluntary Separation Pay Off". So it hasn't been approved, but not denied either. At this point I honestly don't care if I get approved or denied, I just want an answer so I can get on with my life and job.

I've heard in the past that your DOS may be the first indication of an approval. Good luck, man!

Same boat as you ('99/11R). Would be nice to find out whether to seriously look for employment, or just continue on my merry way!

I have a friend, '95 year group, who was approved for TERA. He's an 11F (Strike Eagle) pilot. Here's hoping for the rest of you.

If that's the case, it would represent an complete departure from all published guidance. Namely that 11F's need not apply.
Which, since I am an 11F sitting in a dumpster filling an 18U billet, I didn't...
