There are going to be good times and bad, some days you're going to be in awe that you get paid to do what you do, other days you're going to hate everything and every one. At the end of the day however those gold wings are going to open doors you don't even realize exist for opportunities you've never even heard of. It's going to be a wild ride the whole way.... don't miss it because you were too busy planning for other things.

Are you saying that just because someone wants to go to the airlines after their pilot training commitment is up, they should be washed out? Get over yourself!

He is saying the guy doesn't want to be a Naval Officer but wants to use the Navy for UAL training, for that reason, he should be washed out.
