Is it true that IPs can't make Stan make coffee and popcorn?

The feedback is much appreciated everyone.

Although AFRC may be fine with candidates with no prior-service, I've read that the ANG is far more friendly to members of their unit in terms of UPT slots. Is there any truth to this?

The reserves are more like active duty, the ANG is generally more laid back. Both have their requisite level of BS to deal with. In this day and age of PC, it gets worse with each passing year. The AFRC level of BS is about 5 years behind big blue USAF and the ANG is about where the AD AF was 10 years ago, but closing the gap rapidly. This due to all the sexual assault briefings. The fear of losing airplanes/missions to getting BRAC'd or re-aligned to Predators/Reapers or worse, a non flying mission seems to force leadership to volunteer for rotations/deployments when the Traditional Guardsmen (part timers) are worn out and saying no due to family concerns.

But on the whole flying for the US military is still the best thing you could ever do whether active, guard or reserve.

I have said this for years after going AD Nav, ANG pilot to AETC reserve associate program...For every air force rule there is an equal opposite guard waiver, and for every air force rule there are probably at least two reserve rules. :)
