Default Green slip

Definition, go. One of the many things in the forums I have no idea what it is...

Why the reference to green? I assume you just find these in your scheduling software

To give a slightly longer answer. As a pilot, you indicate your willingness to fly such a trip by submitting a green slip. If one becomes available the company offers and you can accept or decline.

Green because in the day of manual scheduling, the slip of paper you filled out and submitted to indicate willingness to fly at premium was green (there are also white and yellow slips for lineholders and reserves respectively to volunteer for flying at normal pay)

OK, so basically a line the company can't fill. Then they offer it at a higher rate and you jump on it at that higher rate
