Default FC1 Expiration Timeframe

Iam starting UPT about 1 year and 10 months from my Initial Wright Patterson FC1 or even longer if my unit choses to send me to IFT. Just wondering if Iam going to have to undergo another local FC1 before finishing UPT?

No one at my unit knows and I am not the best at reading AFIs

AFI48-123 5 NOVEMBER 2013 3.1.3
Examination (Flying Classes I and IA) must be current within 48 months prior to starting UPT/UNT. Examination (Flying Classes II) must be current within 48 months prior to starting URT. The 48 month period begins from date of certification/waiver of the physical examination (e.g. AETC/SGPS certifies examination on 1 Jan 2008. The 48 month period expires 1 Jan 2012.). Medical history (DD Form 2807-1) must be verified as current within 12 months prior to start of training.
AFI36-2205 29 OCTOBER 2004 1.2.3
Initial flying Class I/IA physical evaluations are valid for 3 years from date of the physical
Thanks!

Please start getting used to reading AFI's. Every jerk will offer you their opinion but nothing counts unless it's in writing. And as a USAF pilot and officer, you will find yourself being lawyered to death in every thing you do so it helps to have the AFIs on your side.
