Job security for 8 years right? Maybe until they bring back the RIF boards... Which would make absolutely no sense

Good luck with that. AFPC is only approving PC 6 months out from the end of your UPT commitment and that is the rule today. In 1 yr, 3 yrs, or 8 yrs? Who knows what will be going on. Enjoy the AD life as much as you can. 8 years is a long time to be miserable.

As for the original poster, I spent a fair amount of time in the spin & puke chair during my time at UPT. Did what the aerospace physiologist called the "graduate course" but it worked in the end. The Docs also will prescribe you medicine before sending you to the chair to help you get over air sickness.

In approximately 5 years and some change. I wouldn't be in a huge hurry; AC (assuming you're heavy if fighter disregard AC), IP, EP are great boxes to check for the airlines; and growing as a professional mil aviator. Along with that, safety, ADO, etc.
