iubball,
I just noticed this thread. I have a eee pc and absolutely love it. It is perfect for the road warriors. It easily fits in my carrying case which is nice not having a 3rd bag to carry. I have not tried anything external such as movies - cant comment there. It does use the Linnux (sp) system. Very easy to get use to. this system may not support a certain browser with your companies schedule, however, the eee does come with the option of loading xp which would probably take care of that. I highly recommend it to anyone in our industry.

I love my Mac....it took me a while to convert...and the people at the mac store aren't really my peeps....but overall it rocks and I'm glad I did it.
If you really have to run something from windows, get parallels....it works great.

The eeepc is just great, you could also wait for the 8.9" display version, I think it's coming out in the third quarter of 2008 or so. Stay away from Vista. Macs are also great, the 13" are perfect to travel. But then again you can't beat the 7" of the eeepc, you can fit it anywhere.
