Side Jobs
Looking to get back into the regionals, but would like to find a way to supplement my income the first year. Something I could do while sitting reserve would be great. I'm no above simple data entry. I remember hearing a while back about guys putting info into electronic logbooks for high-time guys wanting to get out of paper logbooks.
Any ideas?

If you got some income saved up maybe set up a couple of coffee/expresso vending machines near your base. While your on duty these machines will generate some cash flow. Collect and service them on your days off. Any type of work you can do from your laptop; ebay, craigslist, web design, programming, real estate, aviation store/blog, etc...

I'm serious.
I'm a technology addict with plenty of time and money (no kids, no wife, no life except indulging in my hobbies...).

I've been mining bitcoin since 2011. I have since moved on to litecoin since my rigs don't work as well with bitcoin due to the asic systems. I have ordered a bunch of asic systems, but the company has yet to ship them to me. That was over a year ago I ordered them. I won't say how much I have in worth of bitcoin, but I can tell you that many who got in early are multi millionaires.
Litecoin is an interesting alternative. Its value towards bitcoin has consistently increased. Some analysts think litecoin could potentially surpass bitcoin. One being the transactions are much faster. Another being that litecoin is very memory intensive because the algorithm uses script. That prevents peoples hardware they invested in from being replaced by things like asic systems.
Just remember, with every investment, there are huge amounts of risk. Please read heavily before you get into it. A lot of people expect huge returns, and unfortunately, it fluctuates like crazy. There is also always the chance that the government makes digital currency illegal and starts cracking down on it. The people making a lot of money are not paying taxes, but once you delve into the world, you'll truly understand what this new economy stands for, and why many of us are not trading them in for US dollars or Euro, or other paper monies.
Good luck. Feel free to pm me with any questions.

Wish I understood all the Bitcoin stuff. Apparently there is some decent profit to be made if you know what you're doing.
I will suggest learning a bit of graphic design/web design as it is something you can do with just a laptop even between flights / on commutes etc.
