Default Taxes vs. type rating

Anyone deduct a 737 type?

Looking for feedback, thanks.

DISCLAIMER: Haven't done it personally, and NOT a tax professional.

Judging from your profile, you're already a professional pilot. Getting training to (a) make you more marketable (b) in your current field is, in general, a deductible job expense (subject to the 2% rule and all other restrictions to deductions).

If I've got your situation correct, and I were in your shoes: I'd claim it. YMMV.
