I've found a few really old threads on this topic but was hoping to chat with someone in this situation. We're living in NYC for my wife's work but I'm going to remain flying in Canada. We are speaking with tax professionals, but wanted to just chat with someone who is in this situation.
We have all the VISAs and licenses sorted out and, despite the exchange rate, for our current situation it makes sense for me to stay flying with a Canadian carrier. But, wanted to get a sense of any surprise tax issues that may have come up or tips on healthcare, commuting etc.
Thanks!

I'm interested in hearing more about this too.
