Affect of hiring new pilots on FDP
Do I understand this correctly?
With the existing pilot group (2300 pilots), Netjets increased their flying by 30%, and provided incentive pay to encourage pilots to fly more and it worked. Pilots have benefitted greatly, under current manning, often $30k or more per year. Netjets will hire, train, and field an additional 450 pilots by the end of 2022. This will increase the pilot group by 20%. Is it likely the new hires will absorb all the current "extra" flight time? And the amount of FDP pay will be greatly reduced? |

Additionally the new airframes and pilots hired will fill the flights that are being done by approved third party contractors to handle our overflow of flights. I’m new at NJ, but if done right which AJ said they absolutely want to do it right, we will always be busy and be the leader in pilot pay and benefits.

NJ financial strength and stability
It's just amazing what NetJets has accomplished. Whenever you meet an NJ pilot on the ramp they can't say enough good things about working there.

They want to hire 450 this year, but there is no way they will have them all through training this year. Also the company plans on bringing in 60 new airplanes this year while only getting rid if the Gulfstreams (I believe 14 airplanes). As others said, they will start selling cards and shares again and keep the high pace of flying, though hopefully a bit less than last year.

Sounds like 75+ from updated announcements… which would be 61 net… jets at NetJets.
