Always research the flights and call Strat Ops to see if they'll book you on them, BEFORE dummy ticketing. That preserves your after-midnight protections.

If going over 14 hous or an after midnight isn't remotely going to happen I preferred to just get released and do my own travel and get the CC points / miles. You do lose out on per diem though.

When you book through NetJets travel all tickets have a 24 hour cancelation. I would sometimes buy the ticket the night before. Unless, I was already booked on the identical flight for my company travel home.

Company travel uses CTC for bookings. They will give you the number. You get the Netjets discount along with the cancellation policy.

I suggest getting status on Delta if you can through dummy tickets or working with travel to book you on them- they are vastly better than any of the other US carriers.
When I left NJ 4 years ago having A list paid off in my interview with SWA. A list was a nice perk but took a while to get living in SoCal.

Does anyone have a schedule of the class dates over the next few months?

From my understanding, the dummy ticket is only to travel to a destination other than your base? I’m clt based so almost always to and from on American or delta. I’m fine with either airline and have at least second tier status on both. I guess I’m still a bit confused if there’s other tricks beside getting an airline cc like said before? Thanks

No, you can dummy ticket home if you want. As mentioned earlier though, try asking the company to change your ticket first. If anything goes sideways with your travel, you're still on the clock.

huh? I fail to see how passenger status with an airline would have any bearing on a pilot interview…

I would like to know this as well. I will be headed to the expo in March and I’m really hoping to get the job offer. Thanks.

Classes usually begin the second monday of each month. I do not have an official list. There are some months that the start date is moved due to a holiday.

Best of luck
