Default Is NetJets Still Hiring?

NetJets said they would be hiring around 800 pilots this year, and was curious if anyone knows if they still are hiring?
I've heard they are doing two interview days a week, so it seems like 800 positions could be filled relatively quickly.

I'm curious if anyone has any insight into the current hiring environment?

Last email I saw, they revised their hiring goal for the year down to 600. They're blaming maintenance issues, but who knows?

Honestly though, if the airlines are an option for you right now, you're probably better off to go there. Only you know your situation and what's best for you, but right now the airlines are hard to ignore.

The Chief Pilot's email yesterday stated they have reduced the hiring target for the remainder of the year, but did not say by how many. He seemed to indicate that they have reached the staffing per airplane they are looking for. They seem to be falling behind in the number of aircraft they will take this year compared to what they claimed. But who knows, maybe there will be a flurry of deliveries before the end of the year. Attrition seems to be continuing to pick up. I have my suspicions, but only time will tell how that trends. For whatever it may matter since they haven't published a new target number, I believe we've hired just shy of 500 this year by my count.

So if I have an interview scheduled for next week, I might as well not go anymore? From the replies here, it sounds like NetJets is done hiring for this year.

I don’t think that’s correct at all. I’ll find out Monday for you.

Why wait til Monday? Seems like you are in the know with what is going on in CMH.

According to the last email from DW they are reducing the hiring target for the year. Nothing about stopping.

I don't think anyone said they were done hiring. Just that they had reduced the numbers, and what new number is somewhat unknown. What is also somewhat unknown is how they are counting people towards that number. They've had some strange accounting of hires in the past that didn't make sense to me. So are they looking at total number hired this year or seniority list growth? I certainly don't know. However, I highly doubt they are interviewing if they aren't planning on extending offers. Plus, they have said they plan to hire into next year with similar numbers to this year.

Now if they have reduced the number they need in class through the end of this year might they become more selective? I could certainly see that happening.
