Any military guys out there getting the recent call for NJ? I got an app received e-mail about 6 weeks ago and added two recs since then...but I've heard nothing.

Yeah, I interviewed several weeks ago. 5 of the 9 were military, or had some military background, if I remember right.

I'm military and have had my app in since Dec, internal LOR (not the bad military kind) and haven't heard anything. Losing hope quickly. My contact is kinda surprised as well, that I haven't got a call.

A buddy of mine just interviewed.... it took nearly 5 months from the time he sent in his application to receiving an invitation for an interview.

It may just be a coincidence, but he mentioned to me his interview invitation came less than 2 weeks from sending in his first "update" to NetJets. (I believe there is a form included with the application packet that allows candidates to periodically update their flight time and other credentials as needed)

He had just completed a type rating with his current employer and sent in that information along with new flight time totals (remember it had been 5 months since he first sent in the app). Shortly after, he got the invite.

Like I said, it may have been coincidence, but maybe frequent updates are the key to resurrecting a stale application from the bowels of Human Resources????? :rolleyes:

I have the form printed up, waiting till I can update my class I medical in a couple days but lets hope I have the same luck.

I am a mil guy.. min time. I got a phone interview 6 weeks from application. All of the questions were forward and very personable. They figure you can fly a plane .. so the phone interview is looking for personality. I am still waiting to here one way or the other. They seem like a great company to work for so I hope for the Columbus tour, but just like UPS you only need so many pilots and right now you have your pick. If it doesn't work out I might look for "the number to that truck driving school":D. Good luck to all. May your takeoffs = your landings!

How do you submit a recommendation letter? NJA should have received my application package last week and since then was able to get a LOR. I haven't heard anything back from them yet and wondered if I need to wait until I receive an email stating that they have my stuff.

AK Pilot-how did the phone interview go? Was it the same questions? Hope it went well!
