Default Dissension at Netjets?

I heard the union president wants to quit and that he'll resign only if all the other union representatives agree to resign. I seem to recall it was not too long ago that the president of Netjets resigned in disgrace. If this rumor is true, what the hell is going on over there?

It appears you corrected my Thread title spelling from "Dissension" to "Dissention." That is not how the word is spelled. Please change the spelling back to what I originally had. Thanks.

dissension |diˈsen sh ən|
noun
disagreement that leads to discord : this maneuver caused dissension within feminist ranks.

The pilot group is encouraging the union president to resign... 95% of the pilots in my fleet have a very bad opinion of him, myself included.. .We want someone a bit more diplomatic, and less hostile....

He's between a rock and hard place. There are some hard-core, radical union guys that demand that from a union president, but the rest of us don't want that

Having a strong union president who is willing to confront management is certainly beneficial to the pilot group. However, if he is being confrontational with the members he represents then that is an entirely different matter. It sounds like he is doing more damage than good. It's clear he needs to depart the pattern.
