Why go to a company teetering on bankruptcy when there are so many other options available.

There's quite a few regionals out there that have paused hiring or ARE hiring but their class dates were much further out than Silvers.
Its all about getting 121 as fast as possible so this was a viable option. For me, commuting was the last thing I wanted. Everyone has their reasons...

That’s great to hear! Thank you for the information! How long ago was your class, if you don’t mind me asking? Just trying to understand how my timeline will most likely look

Feb 20 was my date

Keep in mind that Silver is the old GulfStream international airlines renamed. Their reputation for training and the quality of pilots produced was about as low as can be. The program you are trained in does have a big impact on getting hired for future jobs.

New routes being added this month (Orlando to Marsh Harbour and Orlando to North Eleuthera). New Routes being added next month Orlando to Greensboro, NC and Nashville. Also adding additional daily routes between Orlando and Pensacola.

Additional planes are scheduled to be delivered this year. Right now N706SV is in NC getting work done to be added to the fleet. N708SV is enroute from France to be next in line to have work done to be added to the fleet.

Things are looking up for the company, just need a solid string of good luck (and decision making) instead of the bad luck that always seems to find itself at Silver.

Hi, I need to jumpseat from pns to tpa next week. Any idea how often the flights are payload optimized?

Shouldn't be an issue. That short of a route they won't take on a huge amount of fuel and can easily pack the plane.

A couple of quick Questions

Fro you folks in the know.

Currently live in SAV and notice that silver wings flys in and out on the way to TPA/FLL.

Is this a home every night at your base type flying, or do u have overnights.

Is this a commutable job from SAV?

How many legs are you doing a day.

What are the flight benefits like.

Feel free to add anything else you think might be important or PM me is you want to keep it private.

Thank you all
Sam.

So, for right now, either way you go, it's off the flight deck at 65. Right?
