I don't know to much about them just yet. I applied to them a while back and got a telephone interview about 2 weeks ago. I was then told that I would be called back when interview dates started coming up. Who know what will happen. At least my name is in somewhere else. I do know that it took about 2 month to hear anything from them though.

I am starting class there Sept 11th. The deal with the new planes is that I am 14 month seat locked in the BE1900. At that point I upgrade to the Dash 8-200Q as PIC. Three weeks of GRD school in PLB followed by a week a Sim in LGA or MCO. The practice LDG's in ALB. Then a flight with the crew for the day plugged in up front, then IOE, then Released to the line. In total 5-8wks before I am flying the line. Everybody is really nice and friendly. There doing a lot of hiring and busy with the new planes coming. They are creating anew division for flight attentdants. Pretty crazy right now but, lots of growth.

Its unknown right now. With expansion there doing they said I'll probably be all over the place. They recommended I commute until I get settled as PIC somewhere where I want to be.

Thats interesting. Where is Horizon getting the 16 from? Are they reducing flying or are they older airplanes they are putting out to pasture and getting replacements for? Anybody have any info? I haven't heard much.
