Default Commutair vs. Colgan

Hey everyone just got offers from both for April 11 class. Q200 EWR for commutair, Q400 EWR for Colgan. Been looking at all the info on here trying to make an informed decision and wanted to know what yall have to say.... Thanks!

Probably a good amount of movement at Colgan, not to mention the new contract. Don't know the deal with commutair, but I would guess based what I know, Colegan would be a better deal.

Pay alone is worth looking at:
Colgan/Mesaba $25/31/37
Commutair $21/22/23

A few months ago... It would be a toss-up. Now, definitely go to Colgan. Assuming you'd be able to easily commute to EWR or IAH.

Any idea what is the upgrade time in Commutair? I know it's a small company and the move to the left seat might be quicker than any other regional there is out there....

How about making 31K second year instead of 22K... who cares about the airplane Q200 300 400 500 etc etc...

I personally dont even know why people apply at Commute Air right now with pay like that. Even if you live in CLE thats a hard sell at their pay rates.

My opinion...Colgan/Mesaba. May as well call it Mesaba....the Colgan name will be gone in a few months.

i think upgrade at commutair is around 2yrs where colgan was around 3 but thats all pre merger talk after integration there will be around 3000 pilots in the entire pinnacle group and only 150 in the commutair group.

Just think of which one you would rather be stuck at as an FO. Plan for worst case and hope for the best. I say go to Mesaba/Colgan dont help a bottom feeder out
