Besides sending the resume in, did anyone also do the application?

Cruz5350 03-22-2012 06:19 AM

That's been happening a lot I have no idea why. Sorry for the frustration hopefully the kinks are worked out soon.

I just sent the resume and after 2 weeks I got an email for an interview.

CloudPilot57 03-22-2012 07:13 AM

I did the application, but had to do it again at the interview so who knows.

Again, much appreciated. Thank you both. Hopefully I hear something within that same time frame.

Has anyone heard anything about the latest hiring?

Our 1900's are only 4-5 years older than the Saab's on property. Stand them side by side and you wouldn't believe it, but all it would take to make em look pretty is the same kind of refurb the Saab's are getting.

From the rumors I hear, the company wants to get rid of the 1900s because they're reaching their cycle limits, the 1900s are getting old. The civil aviation departments of other countries allow airplanes with higher cycle limits, so the 1900s that are trying to be sold will go to South America and Africa.

what you mean like compared to LA fitness :D

The Gym sucks. A couple of treadmills and a weight rack, but the pool and hot tub are decent.

I don't see how they could. The northern flying barely supports a 1900. I was looking at loads in the NE out of Cleveland. Most flights have 2-5 people on them. But I guess it doesn't matter with it being EAS.

I've learned real quick not to put my hopes on rumors. I'll believe 'em when I see 'em.

Then again the load factors in FL right now aren't too impressive themselves even with the smaller 1900. I hope it gets big enough though asap to pack those Saabs.

Some of the flights here in FLL aren't even full most of the time. A few times have had 1 or 2 people aboard but most flights are at least half full. Hope the Saabs can be filled up.

Dude.... What flights are you talking about? You cant be talking about key west and most of the islands. I could see Bimini with loads like that.

Dude, what's YOUR problem?!? I bet you don't even work there, and you supposedly know it all just cause you know of a guy who knows a guy who worked there 5 years ago? Jsf obviously works there NOW, so hang back and maybe you will actually learn something useful. We're not all here to argue.

Thanks to all those who contribute useful info to this thread.

I sent them an email with my resume like 10 days ago. Today I read one post saying to keep emailing them, so I sat down and re-sent the email with my resume.
A few minutes after hitting "send" (no kidding it was like 3-5 minutes) I got a call to interview with them on the 29th!!!

Any info on what I should be studying/preparing will be appreciated, thanks!
