Try to make it through there training program with 600 hours, and no experience in anything heavier than a Seminole. Just what you need, a Part 121 training failure on your record. I've seen it happen to friends.
None of the regionals care how you got your time anymore. If you have 1500 and a pulse and can pass the tests you're in.
Go get 1500 instructing and apply to Compass, Skywest, or PSA.

It's not how many hours you have, it's how many hours you put into it that counts.
I'd be interested to know: Is GLA actually hiring people without the ATP written?
Also interested to know what happens once you hit 1500hrs without an ATP written, do they send you to Sporty's or Aersim? Or do you sit in part 135 right seat purgatory?

I know sub-300hr pilots who have made it through the GLA training program, and I know 1500+hr pilots who have washed out.

With pay on par with other regional FOs, and super quick upgrade, it's really not that bad. I know so many guys that spent a couple years there and are now flying for virtually every major airline out there. I also know guys still in the right seat of an RJ after 8 years.
And they have about 85 to 90 pilots. The 38 mentioned above is not accurate.
