Corporate Flight Management Seeking Captains

Hey everyone,

Corporate Flight Management (Contour Aviation) is a scheduled 135 operation and is seeking Beechjet (Hawker 400XP) captains to be based in Pittsburgh. Operate out of KPIT.

- 84k starting salary plus per diem.

- 2 weeks paid vacation to start.

- Schedule is generally day trips only mon-fri, weekends off, except for the occasional MX and owner trip. Home every night.

- Company provides iPads for scheduling and charts. We have KCM and are in the process of getting CASS and travel benefits with a few airlines including Southwest.

I'm a current first officer here and its not a bad place to be. Commuting will suck, but if you live around Pittsburgh, its a really good gig.

Minimums for Captains are around 2500 TT but if you have an ATP and some jet experience, they are pretty lax about it. Company will provide the type rating. You'll go to CAE in Dallas. At this time there is no contract.

CFM is a growing company and undergoing some changes right now, but there are a lot of good things coming. If anyone has any questions or wants more info, feel free to reach out.

I think we are full on FOs at the moment, but you are welcome to apply on the CFM website.

The CP has tried to get me back for this position. I keep telling him there isn't enough money in the world to get me to move to Pittsburgh with all those Steelers fans...lol.

CFM (now Contour Aviation) can be a great place to be if you are based in a place like PIT and not in MQY. I probably would never have left if I hadn't been looking for more money.

What is the problem at MQY?

I can't speak for MQY since I'm not based there, but I can say that being based in PIT is pretty good. I have a 15 minute drive to work, and I'm usually home in a few hours.

84k isn't bad money to fly a Beechjet to Cincinnati and back and be done for the day lol.

Guys in PIT have a set schedule much like I had in VCT. Unless things have changed, MQY guys don't have much of a schedule.
