Then there was a written test and I think there was a 30 minute time limit on it. The whole process took about 45 minutes.

Overall I have nothing bad to say about it. Young group of guys (late 20's to early 30's) but they seem to be growing and it wouldn't be a bad deal if you can get by with the pay and the base, ATL and CHS. It took about a week to get the "thanks but no thanks" email.

Kind of a funny point, the Chief Pilot called me this morning asking if I was still interested in flying for them. I'm not because I really like my current employer and won't be leaving anytime soon but if I was unemployed I'd probably consider it.

Hey gigity, I'm new to the site so I can't PM yet. I have an interview with them soon. Can you remember any specifics on your interview? How were the WWYD q's? How was the written? Was it just basic FAR's? 135 related FAR's, etc. Any info would be great, thanks!

Gigity, after doing the packet they sent you in the email (assuming that hasn't changed), how long was it before they contacted you?

I didn't get an email. I sent my stuff in and got called by the CP less then a week later, I wish every company I applied for at that time had a response time like that. I don't recall filling anything out until I showed up at the interview

Oh ok - I got emailed a rather in-depth packet to fill out and sent it back a few days ago, hoping to hear back soon.

Figured i'd revive this thread instead of starting a new one... Anybody hear anything about Imagine lately? Any callbacks/interview information? I've been thinking of trying my luck.

They usually do classes of 2-3 once, maybe twice, a year. If you live in the ATL, CHS, RDU area and have any 135 or SR22 time I would apply. I'm thinking they might be hiring end of summer, but not right now.

About ImagineAir

Hey All,

I've been interested in ImagineAir for quite some time and was hoping I could get some insight from any pilots who work there. Mostly about the schedule, pay, and quality of life. I have my ATP and meet well over the qualifications and I have a few years of Part 135 experience flying a Learjet but I'm looking to get out of it since the schedule is basically chaos (on-call 24/7, 2 hard days off a month, 1 hour call out, CONSTANT pop ups and medical flights). Kinda kills the fun of flying the jet when your quality of life is non existent. I have a little bit of SR-22T time and had a blast flying it but its been a while. My contract is up in a few months and I'm looking for a change of scenery. If anyone could hit me up with a pm or email address to contact them that would be awesome, thanks in advance!

I talked with one of their pilots last spring. He said they were having trouble finding pilots. I was excited until I went on their website and saw the weight restrictions. Lol! Too fat!

Just wondering what the typical day is. Is it 1 or 2 legs with a lot of airport sit time, or do you fly 5-6 legs a day? Also are there any plans for a BWI or DCA base?
