We have CASS on certain cargo and regional carriers. Biggest name is JetBlue, and with them it’s cabin CASS only. No KCM, but we do get a discount with Clear.

Slight correction;

Cabin CASS only is an oxymoron. "Cabin Cockpit Access Security System".

CASS and jumpseat are two different things.

CASS, without reciprocal jumpseat agreements, will get you a ride on some of the cargo airlines who have "open CASS" policy and cannot offer a non-CASS cabin jumpseat.

What TW has with jetBlue is a jumpseat agreement, so you can list and get a ride, in the cabin, as long as they have a seat available. This has nothing to do with CASS though.

Jumpseating has been a challenge for all the small guys.

Tradewind at least has a ton of ZED agreements in myIDTravel and $99/year for CLEAR. Not quite KCM, but I wouldn't be surprised if that is coming.

The CJ guys have KCM already, right?

How many hours can a SIC expect in SJU?

I ran some numbers for December which is a decently busy time in San Juan. There were 9 SICs who were flying solely in Caribbean in that month. The average flight time was 61.7 hours in the month, the max was 92.83, min was 36.72. 4 pilots flew fewer than 60 hours, 5 pilots flew more.

I just got hired for the 7 February class and was told that I and at least one other new hire will go straight to SJU after training in March and expect to be there through April or May. I'm really looking forward to flying in the islands and getting some good seat time before heading up north for the summer.

You're going to love it. The SJU flying is awesome. Good experience, lots of fun flying and AWESOME overnights.

Can confirm. Finished up a month and a half stint in San Juan to cover flying (been with the company for over a year and a half now) and it’s a riot. TFFJ is a total blast.
