Default Turbine Commander 840, Telluride, CO $70k

Maya Air in Telluride, CO is looking for a full time pilot to be based out of Telluride. It is a small family based operation with mostly Part 91 flying and a little bit of 135. It is an average of only 150 hours per year. Most of the flights are there and backs with KDEN. You get at least 48 hours notice on flights, no popups. The plane is down for Mx 4 weeks per year that you get off. The pay is $70k with no benefits.

This would be a great job for someone who loves to ski and hike.

If interested please send your resume to Eliot at [email protected]

Preferred
1. 200 ME
2. 100 Turbine
3. Winter flying experience

The passengers won't.

The original poster did say, however, that the job involves Part 135 flying, which out of Telluride in a turbine commander will be IFR; the applicant must meet 135 IFR minimums.

And no benefits so you're paying for your own healthcare.

Sounds like a part time job to me.

150 hours a year for $70,000?

$450+ per hour.

Not bad.

That’s not how corporate jobs work. Think perma-reserve, and you are responsible for maintenance tracking, scheduling, flight planning, logistics, etc.

It may be - or it may be possible.
It can be what you make of it.
Like someone said on another thread - it is a pilot's market.
You are what you can negotiate - especially in corporate right?

Yes, I’m familiar with how corporate aviation and the associate compensation works. Been there, done that. Good luck increasing the initial offer by 50%. When it’s low balled like this, it’s very likely a waste of time.
