End the end, most 135 companies, or even airlines are more geared to the no-strings-attached types. I'm guessing 402's like me, married and local to where the company is based. Makes it hard to do anything else.

You got it. Will be married soon and tired of moving aftertwo airlines and four years in the military.

Dayum, 2 airlines and a charter? That's some bad luck there. Hope you find something that works for you.

Yeah seemed crazy joining the military for stability. Even worse E-2 was a pay raise. On another charter part time now. Scratching time together for one of those dream jobs that don't exist anymore.

I imagine that on the single engine’s, you load your own cargo, but what about on the lear jets, do you do the loading on those as well?

On their baron’s, what percentage of the time do you fly with a co-pilot? I know that they keep that co-pilot slot open for people who don’t meet their PIC requirements and need to build more hours.

Thanks

C.H.

Airnet doesn't have any singles. From what Ive seen, sometimes you'll get help loading in the Baron, sometimes not. The guys in the Lear never touched a thing. I doubt you would have an SIC in the Baron very often, and if you did probably not for very long. They prefer their SICs to have at least 900 hours so they can get their PIC requirements quick and then get their own run.

Thats not always true about the lear crews. depending on where you are, you may have to load and unload a learjet. As for the SIC thing, they are always in the baron and it depends on the run. SIC's try to get high time runs in order to get to 1200hrs quicker.

AirNet does have Singles and lear guys do load and Un-load

Two quick points

AirNet does have single engine airplanes, the mighty caravan. However since training is conducted in ICT. Van drivers never get SICs.

As a Lear Captain, I do load and un-load my own plane. The only place we have loaders on my run is Columbus. I am lucky enough to unload 1500lbs or so of nukes Saturday night with my co-pilot.

I love the misinformation station from people not from Airnet, but seem to know all about it.

FlyCMI, I hope you wear Lead underpants, I'd be scared moving that stuff all the time.

FlyCMI is almost dead on!

One adjustment; there are some other places (TEB, CLT, APA, ATL, MDW that I can think of right now) where the loading is done for you, but most of us help out or do it our selves.
This mostly applies to the Lears.
