I've got a friend ready to leave USA Jet after about a year for a lower-paying passenger 135 job. Complaints seem to be 25 minute call-out, sitting around hotels in TX waiting for a load coming back, and not counting any of it as "duty time". Like the jet - not the other stuff.

That's just part of the on demand freight life. It's not really much different at any other on demand freight company. Also most jobs you'll leave for from freight will pay less, but just think he probably could have never gotten that passenger job without that year at USA jet. BTW I know a guy that quit freight, went to a American Eagle, saw how much better life really was in freight and went to work for USA Jet. It's not a bad job, wouldn't want to live like that my whole life, but it's a really good starting point.
