Anyone know if there are part-time or on call jobs at PDX for Ameriflight?

How do the runs at Ameriflight work? Does your route change every week or do you have the same route for the entire month? How often do you bid for bases/routes/etc. Also, I know for the PA31 its a M-F gig, so that means you only get 8 days off a month?
If you're outstation based, you fly the same schedule every week. If you live in the city with the base, it can change every week. There is a stipulation in the employee handbook about taking "personal" days if you need them.

Many pilots try to get reserve duty on the days they have appointments or other duty, but unlike 121 airlines, reserve at Ameriflight can be the senior bid, because you still get paid the same for the day, whether you fly or not.

100 PIC what? multi? total? last 90 days? give us more info! Plus things are getting more competitive. We are looking to run a class of 12 in January.

Or find multiple people who are doing engine runs and log that.

I guess the absolute best way would be to call Sylvia Perez directly and either email your resume to her or fill it out online. One advantage to calling is that when you interview she can put a face to all the harassing phone calls wanting a job!

Rumor is we are looking to run a class of 12 in January.
