Default Air Cargo Carriers

Saw on the orange site that they were hiring not too long ago at 1000/50 - would I even get a look at with 1200/22? Anyone have the Hiring Contact or HR email or phone? Also if anyone has any new info on QOL/pay/anything please feel free to share esp. about the DNV/DEC/CMI/PIA runs (UPS vs DHL for those? Sr? Jr?). Thanks!

It wouldn't hurt to apply...you never know! They've had a lot of applications since the new ATP rule is becoming effective soon. The only way to contact them is either via their website: www.aircar.com or by applying on climbto350. QOL and pay has not changed. First year FO is about 25k and first year CA is around 45k, second year 48k. There is a 1 year non pro-rated training contract of $7,500.

ACC just got awarded a new contract from MIA to the Bahamas, I don't know full details, and rumors are that they're buying MN Aviation in SJU, to expand their Caribben ops.

I don't know what the Jr/Sr bases are, but I know that DHL runs are highly wanted due to the schedules, however you do make an extra 3k/yr on the UPS runs because you have to load and unload the aircraft.

Hope this helps...use the search function: there's a few threads on ACC already. I don't think they're too old.

Interviewed with ACC yesterday. Very pleasant experience, everyone was very nice. I was told I cannot be offered the job until my urinalysis comes back clean, but that I would be receiving an offer. They are trying to fill a June class of 4 to 6 people. I was told that I was the second in that group. So they are looking for atleast 2 more right now.

I don't know. I have more than they require.

So would one look like a douche if they applied with only 543/16? Not just here but in general, I've been wondering if you look like a jerk if you apply below mins.

I've always heard to apply below the mins. It makes you look interested, and reapply later when you meet the mins. Looks better than just throwing your applications at all companyies. Don't know if this applies in cargo as much.

They posted another listing on the orange site. Wonder how many they need this time? I sent in my resume. 1100 TT 220 ME.
