Can someone that works/worked at Wiggins please PM me. Preferably a 99 pilot.

Someone want to post a little bit about the QOL? 99 Pilots in the NE particularly.
Thanks |
No one work at wiggins???

Wiggins is advertising an Embraer Bandeirante job on the east coast. Judging from Flightaware (WIG1410 etc.) it looks like a bunch of short hops around the SC/NC outer banks/ coastline with a lot of pilot helping load and unload. Anyone done this job?
|
You are exactly correct. E110/120 ups cargo. Be99 are ups cargo. C208 FedEx
Check their web site. |
Thanks, that's what I thought. I "helped" unload and load for a UPS contractor one season, but it should not be in the pilot job description so they can save $2 on loaders. FedEx does not do this to its feeder pilots, only UPS does.

Maybe you can let them know that. Sounds like they might not be the place for you to go. Good luck.
|
Sounds like not the place for anyone who knows it is a brute labor task, not a pilot task. The pilot should be thinking about flight planning and other safety and efficiency-related tasks, which is exactly why other companies do not require they load the plane so they can save $2. Thanks for the info.
