Cape Air

Anyone have any info? (bases,pay)

Starting C-402 Captain pay is $12.80 per duty hour. Time and a half for over 40 hours per week. You are eligible for a dollar a year raise, maxing out at $25.00 per duty hour. Raises haven't been given last two years. Stations are HYA BOS EWB, sometimes ACK MVY. RSW and San Juan in the winter. Earning a steady 40 hour a week income will probably require you to relocate from New England to the Caribbean at least your first year. Fun (often demanding) Flying, good people.

Cape Air has a flow through agreement with Executive Fliteways where pilots in good standing are guaranteed to interview with us when they meet our minimum requirements.

Anyone know if Cape Air is currently hiring and what competitive mins are?

Capn Sac 12-08-2006 05:29 PM

We are currently interviewing and hiring for classes in Jan, Feb, March and April.

Competitive Mins ATP, we will hire you if you are short on time and help you get the time you need to get your ATP. We ask for a season commitment or a year if we help you get your ATP.

You can spend the summer on the Cape and go to San Juan for the Winter, it is a lot of fun and great people to work with. The money is not the greatest, but with OT you can make a living. It is a steady paycheck and you learn some great skills.
