I believe you have to have some sort of 12500 security program to participate in the KCM program. Background checks are the same. So that point is moot.

You prove my point rather effectively.
Do come back when/if you have anything of substance to contribute.

When I flew 121, I did this once in a while. No one cared. But lots of guys asked about getting a job!

So using that logic AA, Skywest, Republic and several other non-ALPA pilots shouldn't be allowed to use KCM either right?

Says screening time is 15 seconds or less and gets us completely out of passenger and other employee lines. Thanks in advance.
To answer the original question, KCM is fantastic. 15 seconds is pretty realistic as long as there is TSA stationed at the access point. Sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes if you're waiting for TSA to send someone over to scan badges. There are also random screenings through KCM. If you are chosen, you still have to go through regular TSA screening like a normal pax.

Just remember that KCM is a privilege to all of us and can be revoked at any time. Act professional, and don't be a dingus to the blueberries.

Mine was a question. I'm not against any qualified crew member using KCM.

Laughing about this whole thread because Cape Air had KCM over 2 years ago, is a 135, has cass, and refused to pay for KCM. The thing I don't get, why does any other pilot care if the non scheds get KCM?

And when you get furloughed or the owner decides to sell, enjoy making the same salary or more at your next job as you do now!
