Turbine time building in California
I'm a current CFI with my CFII and 940TT and instructing in Tracy California that is looking for places to build turbine time. I have 50 hours of high performance but like 13 hours of turbine. I would like to fly with Sky Trek Aviation in Modesto but need like 300 hours of turbine because of their insurance. They had two accidents with low time pilots in the king air last year.
Any suggestions?

Yes.
You're not even at a thousand hours. Get more experience.
You actually want to go pay for "turbine time?" There will come a point, not too far in your career from this moment, when you'll look back and realize what a ridiculous idea that is.
Suck it up. Instruct a bit longer, suppress that shiny jet syndrome that's chewing away at you, and with the rate at which new know-nothing pilots are being snapped up by operators as they barely meet ATP minimums, you'll have that spiffy flight deck surrounding you in no time and you won't have to shell out a dime.
Fly safe.

Good advice.
Enjoy the freedom of being a CFI and sign up for the Wisconsin Airlines Airman Trainee program. There is no commitment and you get free United flight benefits until you reach 1500 hours.
Take a bunch of mini couchsurfing vacations to breakup your CFI time until you reach 1500 hours.
Pop up flying sucks. It is much better to know your schedule in advance.
