I have CP MEL/SEL at 271 TT now.

Looking to build up to 500 TT by end of year year.

Due to my current full time job, I can only fly during weekends only.

I am based from KSNA, and I have access to low price 172 to Split Fee.

I'm looking to do the same thing. I have 285 hours TT, Commercial SEL and MEL. I'm based out of KCRQ, and rent a C-150 for $105 an hour ($52.50 split). It has a Garmin 650 for IFR as well. How much is it for the 172 you're talking about, and how many hours are you looking at getting each weekend?

This month, I am planning KSNA -> KGYR -> KPGA -> KTUS -> KNYL -> KSNA.
And other shorter X-Countries.

Trying to get at least 20 a month if possible 30 hours each month.
After I get 500 TT start sending out resume and keep building hours.

I too am based at KSNA, I instruct there. Whats the rate you have on the 172? Im interested in some long XC this week.

Kind of an older thread, but anyone still interested in time building/safety pilot flying? Im located in San Diego, primarily fly out of MYF but open to drive a little, 260 TT, instrument rated. Looking to build about a hundred hours over the next couple months, as cheaply as possible.

Hi, i got 297hrs CSEL with instrument rating and currently working on cfi in myf and am able to drive a little.
I’d be down to build my flight time up to 500PIC.
