When I became a CFI (a decade after my private and instrument) I began learning how much I didn’t know. Best decision I made. It’s humbling and worth it. Also amazing how many doors open and airplanes become available when you hold that card. Getting some mission based flying in a 91/135 gig is important too imo. ADM on a multi leg trip with time constraints, weight and fuel calculations, weather, etc. is valuable. If professional flying is your goal I think instructing should be part of your path. My $.02

You'll be well prepared to succeed thru any regional training program and begin your career flying jets.
I agree but stay at that gig and skip the regionals all together then go to a major.
