Default NYC area

Looking for anything aviation related in the NYC or NJ area. Have about 1700TT and 237 multi. Although I would prefer to fly(ferry, traffic, banner tow, fish spotting, etc..) I would welcome a line service position(already tried TEB and FRG). I don't have a CFI or the money to get one or I would go that route. Any leads welcome.

Is there a reason you don't want to work at a regional airline? If you have any time flying jumpers or kingair/otter time let me know, I might have a gig.

Only twin time I have is the Seminole/Duchess/Twin Commanche. Plus 120 hrs CRJ. You wouldn't happen to know who flies banners around Sandy Hook would you?

BTW, already did the regional gig(currently furloughed) and have no desire to go back.

Just looked at their website and it's kind of vague as to what their hiring status is but I'm going to apply anyway.

I would not count on Airnet in this area. There is a ton of banner activity out of Belmar Airport/Monmouth Exec (same airport just 2 names). Can you give some further background into your flying history so I can try and think of where to point ya. Most outfits I can think of in NJ want prior time doing it.

What's the problem with Airnet in this area? I like the fact that they have a base at TEB. My times are pretty low compared to the majority of pilots on the street: 1700TT and 237multi(120 of it RJ SIC rest of it PA-44,30 and BE-76). Bulk of SE time in the 172 and PA-28. Built most of my time flying traffic but would like to give banners a try.

I towed banners out of BLM (Monmouth County Airport) back in the mid '70's. The company was Aerial Advertising, Inc., 86 Broad St., Eatontown, N.J. The owner/operator owned an insurance company (same address) and this was a side interest of his. His name was Robert Squillare. Real sweet heart of a guy if I remember. Don't know if he's still alive or not, but it's worth a phone call. This was my first paying flying job. Six bucks an hour, which wasn't too bad in the 70's. Good luck!
