Low Time Jobs Hunting...

I have been looking for several weeks now for what to do when I get out of the school house. I currently am a student and instructor for a University in Ohio teaching Part 141/61 candidates. Although it is nice, my time is near the end since we are only able to stay as student instructors so long.

What are some of the best low time building jobs anyone has seen. I have been putting my feelers out at other flight schools, pipeline patrols (many need 1000TT), and other various aspects of flying with low time.

I currently have my CFI/II, Commercial AMEL/ASEL, 324TT, 80 Dual Given, 56 Instrument, and a whopping 13 Multi.

Anyone have any ideas or guidance!?

What is a "Student Instructor"? Is this a loophole for the University to not pay you for your services? Or do you mean they won't allow you to teach since you are an active student at the University? As mentioned, if you're willing to relocate there are plenty of Flight Instructor jobs out there.

Apply for an instructor position at Aces Aviation... we could possibly use an instructor this spring. Located in Beaver Falls, PA.... 10 minutes from the Ohio border.

Jbt1407, where did your friend find the jump pilot job?

Student instructor at our university basically just meant that we were a part time instructor who was still in school and they would let us work around our class schedule and give 1 or 2 students at a time instead of a full student load. It also meant that they could pay us minimum wage $7.25/hour with no benefits since we weren't a full time employee.

Try american winds up in Akron. They will pay for CFI ratings. They've been posting for quite a while on climbto350.

I think they do foreign training.
