Default Job Boards

Hello,

Getting a start in an aviation career is not always the easiest. I have been looking at a lot of pilot job websites such as climbto350 and findapilot.com. I am at the point where buying a membership seems like a descent idea. I was wondering if anyone knew of more success stories on one website vs another. I am also open to other websites as well, but those are just the two websites I started looking into first.

Thank you for your help!

climbto350 seems to be the best website IMO. Willflyforfood is another good one. JSfirm.com has some good postings as well.

-Best of Luck to you

Call places and see if they are hiring, send resumes. Network!!! These things are way more effective than any boards. Think about all the people looking for jobs, both high and low time. Thoes boards are very hard to get jobs on, but hey for $60 bucks it's worth a shot. Good luck out there.

What kind of job are you looking for ?

It depends on the particular job you are looking at. For low timers, the job boards are probably a good choice. I myself have had success with job boards along with a number of my friends. If you are looking for a CFI job, I would highly recommend climbto350. The corporate job postings probably have a lot more responses, but it never hurts to apply. Some of the best jobs are usually had through networking and knowing the right people, so keep that it mind.

I have had a CFI job posted on ClimbTo350 for over a week and haven't had a single response. It seems to be getting hard to find CFI's, even though we offer a salary and benefits including insurance and paid time off.

I will not have my CFI completed for about another month but I'm interested. If you don't mind PM me the listing and I'll be sure to shoot you my resume when I have my CFI.

I highly recommend you get your CFII while you're at it. It shouldn't cost you a whole lot of money and most flights schools pay CFIIs a few dollars an hour more, so in the long run it pays off.

I also suggest getting the CFII at the same time. We pay $100 more/month if you have the CFII, plus you will fly more.

I would highly recommend Pilot Jobs Board - Airline Pilot Jobs, Corporate Pilot Jobs, Flight Instructor Jobs! They were a great help to me and my friends when I got furloughed. I know several people both low and high time that found jobs with them.
