CAE recently acquired Oxford Aviation and I know that the CAE Oxford location in Glendale is hiring. I can't tell you much else except that FAA instructors CAN teach at a JAA school with certain approvals and requirements met and certain permission granted by the licensing bodies in Europe.
From what I can tell you, much of the VFR flying is done in Arizona, and I was talking with an Oxford graduate on the bus in Madrid and he was telling me that they weren't even allowed to fly outside the Phoenix metro area. Otherwise, it is a highly regarded institution in Europe.

I have a friend that worked there. They give you a base pay of something around 20-25K and also pay you per flight hour. I would guess most instructors make around 30-40K. It's a large school with around 300 students. My friend was an FAA instructor, so I would imagine you won't have a problem Apparently they also take care of their planes and do a good job with maintenance.
