I did a 50 hr. time building block and finished in about 12 days. The key is finding someone to fly with, so going with someone is the way to go. In terms of the prices, they are the per person price, so each of you would pay around $11,000 for the 100 hrs. In terms of the times to fly, expect to fly only at night, except on Sundays, where you might get a day slot. The people are good, just make sure that you are on top of everything, because their "billing" department is somewhat shady; make sure you keep track of your checkout time (5.0 hrs.) or they might try to charge you for dual-received you didn't get. The airplanes are good, with all of them being /G with the exception of one, which is /A.

You might also try finding a local FBO that has a light twin. Sometimes they'll also sell blocks of time (at a discounted rate, even). & if you find a decent mom & pop type place they're often much more flexible in catering to your needs than a large pilot school.

yeah you can take it for longer cross countrys for days, i seen it done, just remember the fuel reimbursement is poor. yeah if you can find a mom and pop that has a light twin, and either has a rate that is around 200 and they give you a credit card for gas that would be good, a number of places will give you a dry rate with block time and if that is descent you can maximize savings your self e.g. economy cruise, your building time so you shouldn't be in a hurry to get somewhere, that can save you a lot of gas!
