Take up something else. Starting flying at age 30, already with a wife and children, is a recipe for divorce.
You KNOW you will be gone a lot, right? That's what pilots do, they leave home for several days every week, and when they are junior, they miss all the holidays and kids birthdays and other family events. But you can't even leave them alone long enough to get your ATP?
Why do you want it? What are you going to do with it if/when you get it? Stay home and baby sit?

Sorry if that is a dose of reality, but if you can't make time in your busy life just to get the license, what are you going to do with it if/when you get it? Not too many pilot jobs where you don't have to travel, and it's usually on weekends and holidays.
