Air Associates of Kansas

Anyone out there with information on the hiring of AAK? I believe you need 500TT but just curious as to if they are still hiring.

Any information on any other picto vendors would be great as well. I know NSA is taking in a few more but turned down an interview a few days ago in hopes of finding something else other than a 172..

would be great

Check out landvue.com. Landcare usually has everyone by now but they sometimes need a replacement. They have 172s, 182s and Aztecs.

We've had a thread or two at APC about them- use the search window at the upper right to find them. I am also told that JetCareers has an active AAK thread, you can go there only for that but you have to come back here. :)

I interviewed with them a couple years ago. The use a Red Bird set up as a 206 for sim. Panel of 3 interviewing you with basic questions. Give them a call at KJOC

Good guys working down there. Prices are high, so I think business has slowed slightly. Good chance to advance up into the charter department as they have a few jets they use for that. Nice, new fleet. G1000s and some high performance stuff (C206, C182, Corvalis).

Not sure where you're getting your information from. As I am currently employed at AAK, and have been for almost two years, I can tell you first hand that advancement from the mapping side to the charter side is HIGHLY unlikely.

Business has not slowed as we are still working 365 days a year. We have a fleet of 12 C206; 2 with G600 and 10 with G1000.

PM me for more details.

That's disappointing to read.

I've heard this from several people, too.
