Interview test

Any insight on the interview written? Im doing the Shepard Study for the interview but was unable to find any insight on how difficult this test was for others that have taken it.

Just wanted some insight on how difficult it is or anything in particular you recommend to focus on.

Study ShepAir. That’s about all I can say. About 80% of the questions come from it, but it’s a paper test, multiple choice. The other 20% of questions are random knowledge things that are hard to study for. I thought it was more difficult than advertised, and I studied hard. Good luck.

In addition to Sheppard I also used https://www.aviationinterviews.com

I found it helped me for my preparation.

Interview

The Written portion is almost entirely out of the Sheppard Air study guide. Call them and get the app and you’ll do fine.

Then you will have a oral exam, covering the METARS already discussed. She asked me questions about Fuel reserves, when weather goes below minimums, and bottle to throttle policies, among others. I can get you a study guide if you contact me directly.

Then, there were the “soft skill” questions:

What would you do with an unruly passenger, how to you feel about having a CA who is 23, what do you know about our schedule and how often you are away from home, etc. They are very friendly and aren’t looking to trap you in any questions. Just be honest, think of the safest answer, and try to consider Customer Service whenever possible.
