Default Flow time for someone hired this year?

And what are the current dates currently flowing? They were advertising five years but that seems generous.

Any idea what the flow times for someone hired this year would look like?

No.

If you can predict the future, buy stocks.

Flow is career insurance. Keep on working for a better job and if that doesn't happen, eventually you will flow.

American shuts down hiring so frequently now it's impossible to even guess. The guys currently flowing went through COVID, two other hiring freezes, and are still flowing in about 7 years.

Likely 7-10 years depending on how often AA shuts down hiring.

I will be significantly faster to upgrade at Piedmont and leave for Delta or United.

Makes sense. Is there any truth to what they said about Piedmont having the fastest flow of the three wholly owns? Or are they all about equal?

again no one can say, not with enough certainty to favor one over another.

flow is an awful, horrible career plan. It’s excellent career insurance.

Yeah but the hiring “wave” at Delta is kind of over with. Plus if you go to Delta now you will never be senior since they hired so many young ppl since 2008. You will have better career progression at AA or UAL, just numbers wise.
