Piedmont bases
I noticed that most of piedmont's bases are out stations, does this mean very little or no overnights? also what about LGA?
I am asking this becouse I have an interview with them on thursday and if I get the job I was wondering wich base would be better for me, I want to commute untill I have enough $ to live on base, but I am worried about not getting any overnights as that would suck from a commuter point of view, any info on how Piedmont bases work would be appreciated.

FIT guy actually, my times are 260/18, still bewilders me that I even got the interview, yes I did send my resume to bob trout.
obviously LGA is the most commutable base, but am I going to be home almost every night? if so it would be better to live in base, and living in NYC aint cheap.

I paid $200 a month for a crash pad at LGA and LIVED in my own place in EWN for $350 a month, plus $50 in utilites. That's not including cable and internet. I was able to live in EWN on first year pay on min guarantee no problem. I bet you could get by for less sharing with other people, in EWN or probably SBY, ROA, or even MDT for that matter. You might even find commuting is more expensive, especially to LGA.

Fresno hit the nail on the head - if you're commuting you'll probably want to avoid LGA.
Most commuters preffer 3 and 4-day trips, might as well try to get a base that has a lot of those. By the time you fly to LGA you could probably fly to CLT then to ROA/EWN in more or less the same amount of time. Although, if you do pick LGA you can always enjoy the deluxe taxiway tour on your way home..
