Hey guys.

I am going to be finishing up SOE soon and most likely starting reserve in SBY. It is probably not too far away and I have started searching for a near-by crashpad or room or w/e. I am a commuter, and will be commuting from Connecticut.

I was wondering if anybody knows of any, and any info would be much appreciated.

I am aware listings of crash pads or "advertisment" of them on here is against forum rules, so I would appreciate it if anyone reading this can send me PM with some info if they have any.

Salisbury is a pretty hard core hood man be careful down there! Haha joke its anything but that. I live 20 minutes north of Salisbury and i just wanted to suggest that you google search "daily times salisbury MD" and or "delmarva now".

SBY sucks. it's HQ, stay away.
Take MDT if you want to fly to commute (i'm assuming out of BDL).
Or just drive and get a crashpad at LGA.

I would agree with the others. Get out of SBY ASAP! Get as far away from management as possible. I'm sure LGA is pretty commutable, but I gotta second the vote for MDT. Its a great base with lots of cool crews. Its not a bunch of old angry people like the company tells you. Granted we have a few bad apples, but every base does.

sorry, i have to chime in here, SBY isn't bad, I barely see management, and I haven't flown with a capt. I didn't like and the beach is 30 mins away. And you get both northern and southern lines.

you might run into trouble getting back home from a trip if the summer fog rolls in for your nighttime arrival. Kind of frustrating.

But yea, definitely stay away from the hood in the city...

A hood in Salisbury??? I lived there for 20 years and there was really no hood.... just stay away from Chruch Street.. thats where the hooker throw her own hiv infested crap at a cop to try to get away...

I live in CT and when I flew for PDT I was LGA based prob the best base PDT has and good crews, and very communtable its NYC!

The guys here at LGA are great to fly with. I've heard from a buddy that the crews at MDT are great too. The ROA crews, from the ones I met, flying there a month, were a really great bunch.
Bottom line, we have some really great people at this company to fly with.

It's the management, from the Prez, the Dir. of Trg, and the Scheduling supervisor who set the negative tone in the company.
So, stay away from mgt.
