I love generalized comments like this. As a former ramp service employee of one of the companies in my list below, I consider myself much more conscious of ramp service than many of my coworkers. That being said, I still have a very hard time trying to differentiate between the quality of service provided by Piedmont, Regional Elite, GAT, DAL Global Services, ASIG, Landmark Aviation, Westchester County NY, or any of the other outsourced providers used in the industry.

Yes.
PDT Can take over the MESA PHX ground ops because PDT will staff it with new-hires at minimum wage.
PDT Can not take over the MESA PHX flight ops because PDT could only staff that with 30 year Captains and 10 year FOs.
But hey its cool tho because those people making 12 bucks an hour at Mesa will be given a chance to interview at PDT for 8 bucks an hour

Ok kids,
Here's the real deal. Pending the approval of Mesa's Plan of reorganization by the bankruptcy court, Peidmont will take over ground handeling at all Mesa run stations. Even if there is a bid for the outstations it will be more of a formality as PDT will end up running them.
The hearing to accept or reject the POR is tommorow and if not aproved by the 17th US is free to walk from this proposed agreement.
